Shavuos is approaching, and we wanted to share a quick update to our office schedule so you can plan ahead if you anticipate needing assistance.
Even when markets and financial headlines keep moving, our team—along with many partner service groups—may be operating on a reduced schedule around the holiday. A little advance planning can help prevent avoidable delays, especially for items that involve paperwork, processing, or third-party follow-up.
Updated office schedule
In honor of the Shavuos holiday, our hours will be:
- Thursday, May 21:9:30 AM – 1:00 PM
- Friday, May 22:Closed
- Monday, May 25:Closed for Memorial Day
If you know you’ll need help in the next few days—whether it’s a question, a form, a request, or simply scheduling time to talk—we encourage you to reach out before Thursday at 1:00 PM so we can do our best to address it in advance.
What this means for you (and what to handle early)
If you’re not sure whether your request is “time-sensitive,” here are a few common items that are best handled ahead of a holiday closure:
Paperwork and processing requests
Many financial tasks include a processing window (and sometimes require review by more than one team). If you’re working on anything with a deadline, it can be helpful to send it in early, such as:
- Forms requiring signatures or identity verification
- Enrollment requests
- Beneficiary updates or name/address changes
Even if we can’t complete every step before the holiday begins, getting it underway early can make the next steps easier and reduce the risk of a last-minute time crunch.
Account-related questions
If you have a question you’ve been meaning to ask—about an account login, a statement, or a transaction you don’t recognize—please reach out before the early close on Thursday. Many questions can be resolved quickly, but some require follow-up research or coordination with a plan provider.
Enrollment changes and plan updates
If you’re making a benefits or enrollment change (or expect to), it’s worth checking in sooner rather than later. During holiday weeks, processing and approvals can take longer than usual. Submitting items a bit earlier can help keep things moving smoothly.
Planning a check-in
If you’d like to schedule a conversation—whether it’s a routine check-in or you have something specific on your mind—please contact us before Thursday at 1:00 PM to secure a time. While we can’t promise immediate availability during a shortened week, we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Holiday weeks can affect multiple service teams
While our office will be closed for Shavuos and Memorial Day, many services we coordinate with may also be on reduced hours, including:
- Insurance and annuity service centers
- Plan administrators and HR departments
- Third-party processing and paperwork support teams
That doesn’t mean nothing gets done—but response times can vary, and certain requests may pause until normal staffing resumes. If you have a deadline you’re trying to meet, giving us a bit of lead time can make a meaningful difference.
If something comes up while we’re closed
If you have a routine request, please feel free to email us or leave a voicemail during the closure. We’ll respond as soon as we return and will work through messages in the order received.
If your matter is urgent and time-sensitive
If you believe your request is truly urgent, please leave a clear message and include:
- Your name
- The best phone number to reach you
- A brief note about what you need
- Any deadline you’re trying to meet
The more specific you can be, the easier it is for us to assess next steps and help as efficiently as possible.
A quick reminder: planning ahead reduces stress
Our goal is to serve you with clarity and responsiveness—especially during shortened weeks. If you’re juggling multiple items (paperwork, decisions, deadlines, family obligations), it’s completely normal for something to feel urgent at the last moment. Reaching out a bit earlier helps us help you more effectively.
If you’re unsure whether to contact us now or wait, we’d rather you reach out. A brief note or a quick call can often save time later.
Thank you
We’re grateful for the trust you place in us, and we appreciate your understanding as our team observes the holiday.
Happy Shavuos and Happy Memorial Day!
We look forward to speaking with you and will return to regular hours after the holiday schedule.
